Affinity Designer – Convert Charts/Formulas From PDF Into Vector Objects

Finally converted all of the Bitcoin White Paper’s charts and math formulas into vector outline art objects for a poster layout.

Pulled each chart/formula directly from the Bitcoin White Paper PDF and pasted into Affinity Designer. Then outlined all text, expand stroke on all strokes, made sure all grouped objects were ungrouped, then selected all objects and joined all objects together into one object (Boolean operation: Geometry > Add).

Now I have 7 chart art objects and 4 formula art objects that I can instantly change the color of (for instance, white art on black background for a poster).

Copied each chart/formula art object from Affinity Designer then, in Affinity Publisher, placed text curser in text flow and pasted art object. Once the art object from Designer is in Publisher, the object’s color can be changed just by clicking on the art object and changing the color.
